Kulturstarter is our small publication about some of the toughest conversations in Danish cultural life.

Here, eight complex, and often uncomfortable, themes are unfolded on paper: from the things we rarely talk about to the things we still don’t quite know how to talk about.

Developed in collaboration with Public Service Agency, Kulturstarter gathers everything we heard, saw and learned at this year’s Culture Kicks Back: reflections from workshops, notes, posters, post-its – all the traces that revealed what was on the sector’s mind that day.

We hope this collection challenges you – perhaps because it reaches into something difficult, perhaps because something feels almost too simple.
