Together with the rest of the team behind Kulturens Frivillige, Martin helps events and cultural organizations engage and coordinate volunteers, making it safe and manageable to get involved as a volunteer. He loves seeing the tangible difference the work makes, when organisations receive the support they need to involve volunteers - more easily, more effectively, and in new ways. Martin finds satisfaction in knowing that his efforts encourage more people to step up and support one another.

Before joining Kulturens Selvstændige, Martin spent 14 years in Copenhagen Municipality’s cultural sector. He admits that he still reads the reports from their political meetings.
