Bio
A strong community doesn't just happen – it's built through presence, relationships and an everyday life where people feel seen, supported and connected. As Community Manager at Villa Kultur, Emma is the common thread running through the house: a warm and helpful face that members can come to with everything from practical questions to wishes for the community.
With experience from the cultural industry, especially within the film industry and festival production – including CPH:DOX – Emma has worked with many of the things people are passionate about in their free time: film, travel, culture and creative communities. This background has given her a great understanding of the people who use Villa Kultur: artists, creatives, entrepreneurs and cultural actors, who all contribute to a vibrant and diverse environment.
Emma works to ensure that both members and the house thrive. She is concerned with their well-being, the atmosphere in the house and everything that makes Villa Kultur show its best side. Her role is dynamic and adapts to the needs of the community – some days she helps with practical tasks, other days she brings people together for morning meetings, Friday bars, and social activities that strengthen bonds and foster a true sense of community.
